Challenger Fun Day additional information Who is invited? All Challengers, Family Members, Coaches, Sponsors and volunteers are welcome. What: 5th Annual Fun Day / Family Picnic Where: 250 League Lane Chesterton, In When: June 22, 2008 1:30 PM – 6:00 PM. Set up will begin around 10:00 AM. Festivities kick-off promptly at 1:30. Clean-up will begin around 6:00 PM What will be going on? All Star Pick up baseball games will start on the hour beginning at 2, 3, 4 and 5 PM. What ever players and coaches are on hand by the first base dugout on the upper field will divide off into all star teams to play one another on the upper field. Challengers will be encouraged to announce the games on the upper field. Wiffle ball games will be on the lower field Inflatable bouncer (jumping room) will be on the lower field Balloon artistry will be available. Try and stump the artists with wild balloon suggestions Music – I am trying to line-up DJAJ to spin some tunes Baseball toss on the lower field. Possible surprises… Food: picnic style food (hamburgers, hotdogs, chips) and beverages for everyone in attendance Prizes: All Challenger Players will have chances for White Sox Tickets, gift cards, Stuffed animals & more… Sponsor recognition: We will ask all players to sign cards for the significant donors. What to bring? Bring your baseball stuff (bats, gloves), sunscreen, lawn chairs or blankets What to do when you get at State Park? Check in at the welcome station. Where to park? If parking becomes an issue, please drop your players off and feel free to park by LA Bell (blue buildings) on 15th and Woodlawn.
