Equipment needs for the 2020 Season

As part of State Park Little League's plan to resume play for the 2020 season we will break from tradition of providing bats and helmets for teams to share.  Instead we are requiring that each player on a team use their own bats and helmets.  

Below are links to Little League International rules for Bats and Helmets.  We ask that any families able to purchase bats and helmets to please do so prior to the start of your teams' practices the week of June 15th.  

Bats: The primary requirement is for the bat to have the USA Baseball logo on it which indicates it is approved for use in Little League.  Please see the link for full details. https://www.littleleague.org/playing-rules/bat-rules/

Helmets: Look for the NOCSAE stamp on the helmet to ensure it meets requirements and follow all other guidelines.  https://www.littleleague.org/playing-rules/modifying-helmets-with-additional-attachments/

As in years past, all players are asked to bring their own gloves, batting gloves, protective cup and any other equipment desired.  

For families unable to purchase bats and helmets we are hoping to be able to provide a limited that can be used for the season.
